We’re On a Mission
At Greenleaf, our team unites behind a single idea: Empowering patients to improve their health by harnessing the natural, medicinal qualities of cannabis.
Here’s how we plan to serve the needs of medical marijuana patients throughout Ohio:
- By managing cultivation, processing, and distribution from seed to storefront to create a range of top-quality, sustainable cannabis products
- By providing patients with safe, effective cannabis treatment and empowering them to make informed decisions about their health
- By focusing on education and research to drive knowledge and innovation in the medical marijuana industry—and contributing to the long-term health and vitality of our community
Director of cultivation Jon Nelson will lead the cultivation program at our 43,000-square foot greenhouse in Geauga County. Employing both hydroponic and organic, living input methods (which meet the standards set by the National Organic Program), we’ll produce a range of Clean Green Certified cannabis strains with clinically verified cannabinoid profiles. We’ll prioritize safety and sustainability throughout our operation to support the health of our patients, our employees, our community, and our environment.
Licensing Status: While Greenleaf did not receive one of the 12 Level 1 cultivation licenses awarded in November 2017, we are appealing the decision with the Ohio Department of Commerce and remain optimistic about our prospects for receiving a Level 1 license. Our final weighted score ranked 11 of 109 applicants.
Led by Dr. Engdawork Engda, our extraction team will use pharmaceutical-grade methodologies to develop our Summit product line, a range of safe, effective cannabis solutions. Grounded in nature and guided by science, Summit will harness the curative qualities of cannabis to help patients to elevate their health. Look for Summit cannabis products—including capsules, medicated oral syringes, topical balms, vaporizer cartridges, and edibles—at Ohio medical marijuana dispensaries in fall 2018.
Licensing Status: Greenleaf has applied for a processor license with the Ohio Department of Commerce, and we expect to hear results in June 2018.
At each of our dispensary locations, we’ll empower our patients to achieve optimal health outcomes by offering safe, reliable cannabis products and providing the resources they need to make informed decisions about their health. Under careful oversight, we’ll partner with the finest cultivators and processors to offer a range of sustainably sourced cannabis products. Our team members will be knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate, committed to understanding the unique needs of each patient, educating them about their cannabis options, and guiding them to achieve optimal outcomes.
